A Living History Commemoration of the
Battle for Bennington at Walloomsac, NY
August 12 & 13, 2017
The Bennington Battlefield State Historic Site is located on NY Rt 67 in the Town of Hoosick, NY.
From west or south: Take I-87 north or I-90 east to Albany. At Albany take I-87 north to NY Rt 7 east. Follow Rt 7 through the city of Troy and then go approx 18 miles to the junction with NY Rt. 22. Go north on Rt 22. Follow Rt 22 through the village of Hoosick Falls and north to junction with NY Rt. 67. Go right and follow Rt 67 east for approximately 2 miles. Just past the state park entrance look for Caretaker Rd. Go right and follow to registration point.
From east: I-90 west to NY line. Take exit for Rt 22 (New Lebanon). Go north on Rt 22 for approx. 30 miles to junction with NY Rt 7. Stay on Rt 22 to Hoosick Falls and follow per above.
Drive time to Walloomsac from both the junction of I-87 with Rt 7 or I-90 with Rt 22 is about 1 hour or less.
